Work Style Polish

Clean classic chic. This outfit features a mustard, short puff-sleeve, turtleneck sweater worn over a brown, flared, eyelet skirt. It is tied together by a skinny crocodile leather belt and round-toe pumps with an exotic chain and snake-styled top.

This is one of my favs! Adorable! Love the color combo too. How did you know to use the skinny belt? Is it that thicker ones are less classic? That’s what it seems like to me.

You may not believe this, Mel. But, your mention of a pumpkin-golden color dress yesterday inspired the look. I can’t take credit for the skinny belt choice either. I got the idea from BR’s online work boutique. I was happy to use that belt that I snagged at an Ann Taylor sale over 2 years ago!

This outfit REALLY works for your body shape. It’s far and away the best for you. The A line skirt is very flattering. Much more so than the pencil skirt or the skirts with the gathers at the waist. It’s so great when you find your shape. Having a bunch of pictures of you in different outfits really helps. The best stand out.

You are right gal e. A-line skirts are the most flattering for my body type–overall petite, but for the hips 🙂 And, pictures certainly give a good vantage point.

    Thanks for stopping by!
