2 More Color Trends Everyone Will Be Wearing in 2019

Can’t quite see yourself wearing the official color of the year–Living Coral? No worries, there are more color trends. In fact, the 2019 color gang has something lovely for everyone. You’ve seen me play with the pinks (see more here). Today, we’re focusing on the blues and greens. If you favor these hues, you’d be excited to know that they’re popping up everywhere in all their beautiful shades. And, even better news? Blue and green looks fabulous together.

What I’m wearing:

Jumpsuit | Blazer | Sandals c/0 | Fendi Sunglasses (60% off)  | Lip: Pat Mc Grath “Elson”

When I was in Memphis (see why here) recently, I wore this combination to luncheon with fellow influencers. It was the kind of occasion I would typically wear a dress for, but the sweetheart neckline on this jumpsuit made it a sweet option for my luncheon.

To step up the styling of the jumpsuit, I added a lightweight blazer in a complementary shade of light blue. Draping the blazer over my shoulders added a little edge and polish to the jumpsuit.

By the way, while I was in Memphis, I attended Fashion Night Out, and I shopped a few local artisans. My earrings are by one of them–Leslie Ponder Studios.

Summer Rompers Under $20 With Glowing Reviews On Amazon

I’ve been slow to embrace Amazon fashion as a go-to source of clothing. Let’s just say, I’ve been disappointed a couple times in style orders. Leaning on reviews, though, I’ve been exploring some super affordable summer basics available at Amazon. Items like rompers, for example, would be such good buys at the retailer’s low prices. So, I tried it out and thought I’d share the surprisingly positive news.

I’m styling a romper find, and I’ve rounded up several others with similarly glowing reviews.

rompers

I’m fond of styles like this romper because they can be so versatile during the summer. Need a cover-up while sitting on the beach? Want a toss-on-and-go style while on an island vacay? Heading to a pool party? Rompers like the one I’m wearing are perfect for all these occasions.

Just for fun, I decided to throw on a blazer to dress it up a bit. And, just like that, the romper became appropriate for brunch or a beachside dinner. By the way, did I mention the romper is only $17.99. Can’t beat that! See all the other styles at the end of this post. Each style has glowing reviews. I heeded reviewer advice on this style and ordered a medium. It was a  good move.

Jump For Joy, Colorful Jumpsuit Season Is Here

I’m always here for a fabulous one-piece-and-done look. And, jumpsuits have become my one piece of choice. In addition to making it easy to get ready, jumpsuits are appropriate for all occasions. Find the right jumpsuit, and you have a piece that can take you anywhere. This jumpsuit season, the utility jumpsuit (see an Economy of Style flashback in one here) is having a moment. I’m especially fond, though, of colorful jumpsuits in sharp silhouettes. I’m sharing examples of those styles in today’s post.

The One Piece That Makes Summer Dressing So Easy

There’s nothing I like more than an outfit that’s easy. And, in my world, few things compete with a jumpsuit when it comes to effortless style. With the right jumpsuits in my closet, I need only throw one on, and I’m ready to go anywhere. The sstrapless jumpsuit, like today’s featured style, is a personal favorite because it has the added bonus of being versatile. I can wear it with just a sandal or layer to my heart’s desire.

This jumpsuit is another Tracy Reese x Anthropologie beauty. I’m a huge Tracy Reese fan because her styles always combine bold hues and prints with modern silhouettes. Remember my halter jumpsuit from Tracy Reese? I didn’t think I could like another jumpsuit as much I do that one, but this one gets just as much love.

This jumpsuit has it all, from a striking geometric print to a flattering strapless silhouette. And, the icing on the cake? It has pockets!

I had been eying this particular style for a while. I featured it in a jumpsuit post recently (see that post here). When an instagram friend of mine shared her 20% off coupon with me, that was the encouragement I needed to finally get it.

For reference, I’m wearing a size 4. The jumpsuit fits true-to-size and is curve-friendly. I’m a 4 on top and a size 6 or higher on the bottom. The flared silhouette on this style flows over curves with ease, so I didn’t need to size up as I often do.

This Retailer is a Favorite for Jumpsuits

No question. I’ve found my all-time favorite jumpsuits at Anthropologie. Remember this one and this one? They’re classics! The Plenty by Tracy Reese checked jumpsuit via Anthropologie (see it worn here) has already become one of my favorite purchases this year. And, listen, Anthro just dropped some new items, and I already have my eye on a new Tracy Reese jumpsuit. Today’s post shares that style and a few other Anthropologie jumpsuits that should be on your radar.
