Stylish Summer Staples Right At Target

I’d been eying the Who What Wear puff sleeve dress for a minute. It has a perfect breezy, babydoll silhouette and right-on-trend puff sleeves. I hesitated because I could only find it in black in-store, and I didn’t want another black dress. Imagine my delight, then, when I stumbled upon the fabulous frock in yellow. And, if you use Target Circle Offers, all Who What Wear items are 5% off right now (ending today). There are so many summer staples.

What I’m Wearing:

Dress | Fedora | Sandals | Long necklace | Michele watch (on sale)

The puff sleeve dress has a wide neckline, which makes it easy to drape the sleeves off the shoulders. It’s simple yet stunning. Remember my ruffled midi skirt (see it worn here)? It’s also from the Who What Wear summer collection, which is packed with fabulous summer staples. See more of my favorites in the widget at the end of this post.

Since this dress makes a statement with its fabulous details, I kept my accessories simple. My Kendra Scott Zorte long pendant necklace, for example, has a modern and minimal design with its shiny hammered pendant. By the way, it’s on sale (through 5/25).

Fabulous White Dresses To Wear This Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer, is ahead. I know, it feels different this year. I have every intention, white party or not, to bring out all my favorite white dresses to celebrate. Who’s with me?

Today’s featured dress is a quarantine purchase. I haven’t been shopping a lot, but I’ve given myself permission to snag items I deem irresistible. This dress surpassed that requirement. No surprise, it sold out quickly. It’s still available in black though (see here). I’m rounding up some equally fly options at the end of this post too.

In today’s look, I was styled to shoot an Instagram campaign. So, this is a sneak peek. I’m wearing and eyelet embroidered dress that has the best, right-on-trend details. The dress has that super popular prairie vibe and demonstrates that modest fashion can be quite chic and sharp.

Fit? The dress has an oversized fit, which allows for some flexibility with sizing. I’m wearing a size small. I could comfortably fit an XS as well. The dress has a slip, and it’s fairly big as well, so there’s no need to worry about the under layer being tight.

I love eyelet dresses (see another favorite here). They can be versatile, easy to dress up or down. This particular dress gives me “I’m fancy” vibes, especially in black. In today’s look, I dressed it down as much as possible with a straw fedora and slide sandals (not photographed).

What I’d Be Wearing If I Wasn’t At Home

An uninvited guest interrupted the world during a fabulous fashion season. Nonetheless, I’ve been enjoying the styles virtually, adding all kinds of things to my shopping carts. Actually, I’ve slipped a couple times and ordered a couple few items that I can’t envision wearing soon. Maybe I’ll wear ’em just because to a grocery run? Whatever the case, here are some of my absolute favorite summer styles out right now.

Dresses For Looking Sharp And Feeling Breezy

I usually gravitate toward comfortable pieces. But, I have a few not-so-comfortable items in my closet that were so fly that warranted keeping them. This extended period of quarantined life, though, makes me appreciate comfortable clothing even more. I’ve been thinking about the items that I’ve been reaching for, from breezy dresses to joggers sets. And, I wonder about the ways this at-home experience might shape my overall style. I guess that’s left to be seen, right?

In today’s post, I’m featuring one of those versatile, stylish, comfortable, breezy dresses that I’ve reached for to spruce up at home on a Sunday and also to sport on a grocery run. You’ve seen it before here. In this look, I was going for a dressed-up-down vibe. To achieve that, I paired the dress with sneakers and a cap.

Babydoll Dresses For Freedom And Fun

Need a break from your sweatsuits? Jogger sets need a break? Babydoll dresses are a huge trend for spring and summer, and their loose-fitting silhouette makes them perfect for the current realities we face. There’s just something so easy, effortless, and free about a voluminous, tiered, mini dress. When I need a break from my stay-in uniform, I reach for one.

It’s finally starting to warm up in St. Louis. Since dresses are no-brainer in warmer weather, I’m reaching for my favorites. And, voluminous dresses are top choices because they’re equal parts comfy and chic.

For an easy-going look, I paired my dress with white sneakers. By the way, my dress is an older style from Zara. There are a few new styles that have caught my eye though (see the widget at the end of the post). The options are plentiful. I’m favoring styles with v-necks (as opposed to the iconic high neck design) and right-on-trend puff sleeves.
