Greetings, fellow lovers of bright colors. One of the best ways to get more mileage out of our colorful wardrobes is to mix and match. Color blocking is our friend! I was inspired to try this blue color combination–cobalt and copper–while watching an episode of Stylish with Jenna Lyons on HBO Max. One of the characters on the show presented an eye-catching outfit that paired cobalt with brown. When I saw it, I immediately knew that I wanted to try a version of it. I own a few copper pieces, like the Theory coat I’m caping today. Copper pairs so beautifully with cobalt. Read on for all the details.
What I’m Wearing:
Cobalt blazer | Copper coat (on sale) | White joggers (similar)
Kendra Scott necklace | Kendra Scott studs | Kendra Scott ring and ring
Fenty Beauty gloss bomb ($weetmouth)
My cobalt blazer is from Zara. I’m so hooked on Zara’s double-breasted blazers with the metal buttons (see me wear one in navy here and here). They look so expensive and fit impeccably well once you find your size. I buy the medium for a relaxed yet structured fit. The prices range from $89.90 (like this one) to $149.00. They’re worth every penny.
To create the color combination, I wore the cobalt blazer over white and caped a copper coat over the blazer. This coat is one of my favorite buys in 2020. I wear it with so much (see here, here, here, and here). It retailed originally for $795 and is now marked down by 70%! Such a steal. For reference, I’m wearing the coat in a size medium.
Do you take vitamins? Your skin is always glowing and your hair is on point. I am looking for a great vitamin to enhance my skin and help hair growth. Any recommendations?

You’re so sweet, Lucella. I usually take a multivitamin, and I’m not particular about the brand. As a vegan, though, I’m very mindful and intentional about how and what I eat to make sure I get some key nutrients (for example, B12 etc). And, in full disclosure, the images you see here almost always featured me wearing a full face of makeup. Foundation and concealer cover a lot.
