The Green Hue You’ll See Everywhere This Fall

Green with envy! Shades of green have been having a moment this year, especially olive green. And, I couldn’t be more into it. Green hues serve well as foundation colors, practically giving them neutral status. Yet, you get fresh color. Win-win.

What I’m wearing:

Olive green top | Navy pants with raffia belt (on sale) | Sandals (major markdown!)

Kendra Scott earrings  (on sale) c/o

I spotted today’s featured top on Zara and added-to-cart with a quickness. The top stole my attention because of its striking color (an olive green hue) and standout silhouette. It has puffed sleeves, a high neck, and a cropped length. The deal closer? It’s under $40.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small which fits true to size.

Shades of green pair well with each other. I wore my top with my Banana Republic lime sorbet blazer, and the color combination was truly magical. This particular olive green also looks great with lighter colors, like white and cream. And, of course, it pairs beautifully with navy blue too.

What’s your favorite green hue for fall?

I actually saw this exact top in Zara & passed on it because I wasn’t sure if it would look too poofy on my petite frame because of the boxy cropped fit. How does it feel for you when not raising your hands (like in these photos)?

Hi Zaeobi! The shape of the top is quite lovely, not boxy at all. It flares beautifully. I’m 5’4″ and wear a size small, and I got a size small in the top. The top is cropped but not too short…just the length I like. In this look, my pants are very very high-waisted. I raised my hands in these few images to show off the raffia belt without having to tuck the front of the top 🙂
