I’m proud that when I shop Amazon, I usually stick to the items I intend to buy. Dog food? Check. Some book I need? Check. But, on occasion, I find myself adding random stuff to my cart that I didn’t know I needed. Here are a few of those items. Turns out, they’re game changers.
I bought this handheld fan to survive summer photo shoots. But, this fan is so handy that I take it everywhere now. It’s in my tote bag right now. It has a rechargeable battery that you can charge via USB. It doesn’t get easier than that.
You’re probably thinking what kind of style maven doesn’t own a steamer. I like to iron and make sure my clothes are perfectly pressed before leaving my house. This little steamer, though, is so powerful, I haven’t ironed once since getting it. When we can travel again, I’ll surely be packing it with me too. It’s especially efficient on handling creases on all those ruffled styles that are trending right now.
3. Industrial Pipe Clothing Rack
So…I really didn’t need this since I already had a clothing rack. But, while bored-in-the-house-in-the-house-bored, I started redecorating everything. My closet-office got a clothing rack that better suited the vibe of the space. Stay tuned for a reveal of that revamp once my walls get repainted.
4. Super Compact 256MB Flash Drive
My photo management system requires a lot of space, and I grew tired of the unreliability of external drives with cords. Their failure rate just got too high for me. So, I tried this little drive. It’s so tiny and holds so much. I keep one in my computer all the time.
Don’t even ask why. I found this key holder randomly one day. And, since getting it, I’m always able to find my keys too.
6. Nipplomats Nipple Covers (in dark)
I’m pretty sure I’ve raved about these before. I’ve been using Nipplomats nipple concealers when an outfit requires no bra or I just don’t feel like wearing one, which happens often these days. I love that nipplomats come in a dark option that can truly serve as a nude for black women. Equally important, they stick where you set them and are reusable for up to several wears.
7. Tofu Press
I’m vegan and eat tofu. For years, I’ve been pressing my tofu the non-environmentally-friendly way, using paper towels. The shortage of paper products during this pandemic prompted me to finally get a tofu press. I don’t know how I lived without one. It’s much more efficient than my previous method, and it can be tossed in the dishwasher.
What an interesting list, Psyche. I am looking forward to your office reveal, for sure! Super minor but I thought you may want to think about using Black women instead of black women since the Capital B movement is picking up steam 🙂 Take care!
Thanks, Brittany! I can’t wait to share.
