The Perfect, Cozy Plaid Topper For Fall

No doubt, plaid is a safe and easy choice during the fall. It has fall staple status all over it. But, your plaid style choices don’t have to be ‘safe’ nor boring. This fall, we’re seeing hip variations on the plaid trend, from punk plaid to power plaid. Whichever styling you’re into, I’ve found the plaid topper that’ll help you nail the look every time. Meet the soft, cozy, and versatile Aururo plaid topper.

The autumn-hued colors holding down this plaid topper excites all my style sensibilities. They’re especially luxe-looking because this is a sweater knit. By the way, if anyone else has a wool sensitivity, you’d be thrilled to learn that this topper is wool-free and hence itch-free.

I wore it casually last weekend. Do you see how it transforms a white top and straight jeans? Imagine what else it can do! Plaid on plaid. Plaid with leather pants. Plaid over a dress. Get ready to see this topper a lot.

Questions about sizing? I’m wearing the topper in a size XS. It’s from Soft Surroundings, and their XS corresponds to a size 2 to 4. So, it fits true to that.

I’ve been wearing my taupe mules (see them here and here) on repeat, so I decided to bring in some reinforcements. This tan pair is such a beautiful, wear-with-everything nude. It’s 2 inch heel makes it an easy choice for everything from everyday moves to travel.

There have been some mixed reviews about the sizing of these mules. Once I tried them on, I understood what was at the root of that. The length of the shoes is definitely true-to-size, but the opening at the vamp is narrow, which may prevent your foot from getting all the way in the shoe. I wore mine all weekend, and the leather did relax a bit at the opening.
