Since we’ve been talking a lot about color this week, I thought I’d bring out an old favorite dress in a fabulous fall color (see it styled differently here). Rust, burnt orange, henna (like this dress) are popular autumnal hues. These colors pair well with hues in the same family too. So, today, I’m combining them for a fall inspired color block.
What I’m wearing:
Dress | Jacket (similar) | Mules | Baguette | Earrings (similar)
My dress is the Santiago dress from Soft Surroundings. There are only a couple sizes left. For reference, I’m wearing the dress in a size XS. I was drawn to the dress because of its color, but I also love the boatneck detail, which offers some versatility in styling (see how it drapes off the shoulder here).
To stay in the color family but mix things up a bit, I added my new faux leather jacket (see it styled differently here and here) from Gordmans. Together, they create fall inspired color magic.
Add the tan shoes? And, the color combination goes to a new level of chic.
The additional details are staples I wear with everything. My structural earrings (shop a similar style here) in 14K gold add just the right amount of sparkle. My red lip by Pat McGrath pops with the autumnal hues. And, my Fendi bag is a beautiful complement to the vibe of this look.
