H&M quietly dropped a new designer collaboration with Richard Allan last week. I must admit, I’d never heard of Allan before now, but I took one look at the prints and wanted to know him. Allan, known for his silk scarves, created abstract prints in vibrant colors. Major brands brands like Yves Saint Laurent used his work. After his company shifted hands in the 80s, however, a lot of his archive got lost.
The pieces released in this collection were made available by Allan’s daughter who is sharing some of his original prints. Do yourself a favor and browse the entire Richard Allan X H&M collection. I bought a few pieces in my local store, including the t-shirt ($12.99) because the graphic prints are giving me life. And, get this. Blouses are under $15. Some of the dresses are under $35. The leggings are under $20.
Did you catch the recent Mantsho X H&M collection?
Appreciate the backstory on the brand, Psyche! I actually just got a graphic turtleneck for $10 and it is going to work so well in the fall. These prices cannot be beat

Wow–those patterns are amazing, and I love the backstory of his daughter wanting to put his vision out again in the world! Thank you for sharing!
