4 Easy Ways To Style A Matching Two-Piece Outfit

Two-piece sets can take your spring and summer style to the next level. And, zero effort is required. I’ve been drawn to the dressier trends of 2019, from sharp suits to embellished dresses. During the spring and summer, though, I’m planning to replace my suits with equally sharp and slightly hipper co-ords. What I especially love about a two-piece matching outfit is that its styling possibilities are endless. I’m sharing how I’m wearing my current favorite set 4 ways below.

Everything I’m wearing in this post:

Chevron print shirt (wearing size 2) | Chevron print cigarette pants (wearing size 4)

Tube top (cropped option) | Pumps (similar, similar) | Bag | Lip: Pat McGrath

Simply wear the set. For added flavor, I rolled my sleeves, tucked the front only and created a plunging neckline on the top by leaving a few buttons undone.

Look 2

Wear the coordinated top as a jacket. This styling offers cool opportunities for styling because you can experiment with all a variety of layers. I’m wearing a tube top, but I could easily pull off a similar look with a crop top, camisole, or tank.

Lose the top or the bottom. In this case, I decided to wear the pants with another top.

Knot the top instead of using the buttons. Don’t like the fussiness of wearing shirts tucked in? Skip it and simply knot it instead.
