One thing’s for sure. It’s now winter in St. Louis. From the snow storm last weekend to the upcoming blizzard, winter is showing off. Naturally, I’ve had one thing on my mind–staying warm. When I walked into Kindred, my favorite collective boutique, I realized that doing so while looking fly might be easier than I thought. Y’all, I was blown away by the store’s collection of warm, cozy, chunky sweaters. Let’s just say, I wanted one of everything.
From colorblocked styles to cardigans to turtlenecks to bell sleeves, there was a style to suit every style sensibility. I quickly noticed that some of my favorite chunky sweaters were by Knitted Belle, one of 7 featured boutiques at Kindred. So, in today’s posts, I’m sharing my top 2 styles from that featured boutique.

In 2019, my plan is to prioritize color more than ever. So, when I choose a black and white outfit, you know it’s super special. I simply couldn’t resist the colorblock design on this chunky cardigan. It’s so modern. And, the balloon sleeves? They take this cardigan from fly to super fly.
I paired the cardigan with a faux leather skirt, also from Kindred. The silver buttons on the front of the skirt are such standouts. The cardigan was the perfect partner for this skirt, then, because the buttons get their full shine.
By the way, when you visit Kindred to check out the chunky sweaters, don’t overlook the fabulous accessories. Feather and fringe are all the rage in 2019. And, these earrings are an easy way to get in on the trend.

You probably guessed it. Yes, this sweater immediately caught my attention because of its smart block of colors. These colors together? Magical.
Once I tried it on, I loved that the neckline allowed me to drape it off a shoulder. I was also smitten by the oversized balloon sleeves. This sweater brings all the drama to your winter style. Wear it with jeans. Wear it with leggings. It doesn’t even matter. The result will be the same–fabulousness.
