How To Wear Rust This Fall

One of the top colors of the season (and probably next season) is rust. The orange-red-brown hue is more universally flattering that the brighter members of its color family . Since getting my rust blazer dress, I’ve been excited about the rich hue and all the color mixing opportunities it offers. I found today’s featured rust jumpsuit in a small STL boutique. I got it for an end-of year vacation, but I couldn’t wait to wear it. With a cozy warm layer and some booties, I’m making it work right now.

What I’m Wearing:

Rust jumpsuit (find it here) | Cardigan (optionoption, option) | Booties c/o

Earrings: Diamonds Direct St. Louis c/o | Lip: Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint

My favorite combination is rust and navy (see here how fantastic my rust blazer dress looked in front of a navy blue wall). Today, I’m sharing another magical combination–rust and brown. My brown cardigan coat (an old favorite seen before here) was the perfect warm topper for this rust jumpsuit because of its color but also because of its length and texture.

The Naturalizer Blair booties, with their beautiful cognac hue, complement the rust-brown combination well.
