The scarf print trend has been gaining steam for a few seasons now. For Fall 2018, we’re seeing classic scarf patterns reimagined as slinky suits, flirty skirts, and fabulous dresses. And, today’s featured dress from Zara is a perfect example of how the trend is trickling down into the mass market, making it more affordable and accessible.

Scarf prints like this one remind me of Hermes silk scarves, and hence look luxurious and expensive. Of course, this dress is from Zara, so it is silky not silk. That detail, though, takes nothing away from the luxe look of this dress.
For reference, I’m wearing the dress in a size medium, which is my standard Zara size lately. So, it does run true to size. The dress buttons up in the front, which offers some flexibility in styling. You can wear it buttoned up, unbuttoned, or play with the buttons to create a deep v-neck or a high slit.
