When you live in the Midwest, you take your transitional weather style very seriously. This time of year, the weather gets so unpredictable that our outfits have to be ready for anything. Sun, rain, snow, all possible in the same day in these parts. So what do you wear?
Shirt | Jeans | Flats (option, option, option)
I choose versatile pieces that can straddle changing weather, including light layers and closed-toe shoes. For example, my black skinny jeans, perfect in any season, is worn with a poplin shirt with spring details like a contrasting horizontal stripe. The shirt’s sleeves can be rolled up on warmer days. It’s also easy to throw on a trench coat over the shirt when needed.

I love the stripe detail on that shirt! I have a cute pair of side strip pants that would be perfect! Hurry up Spring!
