Give Your Shirtdress New Life as a Duster

I’m a huge fan of wrap dresses and shirtdresses because they’re effortlessly stylish and also versatile. Remember my DVF wrap dress that I wore as a cardigan (see more on that here)? In today’s post, I’m doing something similar with my under-$30 shirtdress (shop the dress here) because restyling dresses gives your existing wardrobe new life.

Shirtdress | Camisole | Jeans | Booties | Belt | Backpack

My duster might look familiar because it’s the affordable dress I featured before (see that post here). I was instantly drawn to the dress because of its vertical stripes in black and tan. Just so you know, the dress is also available in navy and cream stripes.

I was also a fan of the dress because I could envision many styling possibilities. Its storm flaps give it the feel of a classic trench coat, so I knew it would be perfect as a topper. If I close the buttons above the waist, the dress would look fabulous as a high-split top as well, perfect for wearing with leggings. Not bad for a dress that’s under $30, right?
