I Tried Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored

In How to Maximize Holiday Sales to Your Style Advantage, I shared my top 3 tips for taking advantage of holiday deals as well as the two things I shopped for during Black Friday weekend. One of those items was Rihanna’s new universal red lipstick—the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored (get it here). And, what can I say? It’s such a perfect red! Today’s post is all about it.

This lip paint has a liquid-y formula that applies smoothly and dries to a matte finish. Once it dried (very quickly, by the way), it felt like I wasn’t wearing anything at all. And, I love that.

I found the wand applicator a tad bulky and hence clumsy to use at first. See what it looks like below. I think I’m getting the hang of it now though.

12-hour wear? The product promises to give 12-hour wear. I put it to the test the first time I wore it because I did a photo shoot, went straight to brunch, and then ran some errands. After eating and drinking, I experienced some color fading, but for the most part, I still had a bold red lip I could continue wearing without touch-ups. I didn’t experience any cracking, which I was really happy about. I have dry lips, y’all.

All in all, I’m a fan of this lip paint. The color had my love at first application, and it wears pretty well too.

I love this color!!! My shade in her foundation has been sold out forever 🙁

Will try this next time I hit up Sephora.

Hope your shade is back soon, Alisha! Mine is a sold out shade too…I got lucky and grabbed the last one in St. Louis. And, yes, definitely try the lippie.

Oh good, another review of this lipstick and shade! I read a review of it on the Revelist site, and it got mostly high marks, too. I’m glad you added the detail about it not being drying to your lips — I also have dry lips!

My pleasure, Jen! Definitely try it on in Sephora if you can.
