Double denim is back in a big way this fall. Actually, pairing denim with denim has been holding its own among top trends for several seasons now. And, for denim lovers, this is great news because it means we have infinitely more cool ways to wear our favorite jeans.

Add Layers to Double Denim for Cool Fall Styling
To anchor the look, I tucked my favorite chambray shirt (an older style from Old Navy) into a pair of skinny jeans (under $30!). To add a little fall flavor, I reach for perfect-for-fall layers, like my J.Jill long cardigan, and luxe leather accessories like my Linea Pelle hip belt.
I love a long cardigan as a transitional layer. It delivers the warmth of a cardigan, but it’s so cool looking. For another way to rock this cardigan, see this post.
My Linea Pelle Etched Basic Hip Belt is worn to break up the denim. Its beautiful color—”Missoula”— and antique brass hardware also introduce warm fall color into the combination.
