Spring Chic in a Classic White Blazer

The white blazer is a spring and summer essential for me. It’s crisp, cool, and so easy to wear. Today’s post shares an all-occasion combination complete with a white blazer.  I wore this look to a recent fashion show in St. Louis. It was a chilly, rainy day that required layers to be comfortable. And, my white blazer came through for me.

Monochrome Style in a White Blazer

When in doubt, rock white on white. My blazer is an older Ann Taylor style that I adore because of its flattering (not boxy) silhouette and longer length. It’s an easy choice for pairing with everything from dresses to shorts. For this event, I layered the blazer over my go-to white Old Navy tank (on sale) and wore them with a comfy pair of  black skinny jeans (on sale).

To complete the look, I relied on accessories to introduce color and print. I’ve been eying the J.Crew Betty sunglasses in Ivory Tortoise for a minute and finally got them during a recent storewide sale. They’re now on sale, and sale is on sale!!! These sunnies added the always-cool tortoise pattern but with a twist in ivory.

My gold hoop earrings are a simple yet bold spin on the classic hoop. See more must-have modern hoop earrings in this post.

The combination of black, white, green, and leopard excites my style sensibilities. So, my old Madewell Mira pumps were an easy addition to the look. If you’re shopping for a pair of shoes in this fabulous green hue, you must see Madewell’s Violet Crisscross sandal in Midnight Spruce. What a beautiful sandal!
