Poplin shirts are having a moment this spring. Before you hit the snooze button on that news, though, you should know that these aren’t the basic poplin shirts. Spring’s poplin shirt is oozing with hip details, like funky sleeves and beautiful wrap fronts in lieu of buttons. I bought one in Zara on a recent trip to New York. But, I’ve also included a few more affordable wrap shirt options at the end of this post.
Shirt | Jeans | Tank | Pumps (old)

My Zara top, which is under $40, features classic blue pinstripes. The top overall, though, is everything but classic because of its subtle puff sleeves and crossover front. I especially love this wrap style because I envision getting creative when wrapping it. In today’s post, I’m wearing it as intended.
The top has a bit of a cropped length and hence would be perfect with high-waisted bottoms. I’m looking forward to wearing it that way. For now, I took it for a spin with my favorite curvy fit jeans.

I just learned about the poplin blouse!! Although the details like the puff sleeves are modern it still gives off that classy vibe!! I may have to incorporate some of these in my wardrobe!!
