Wearing Layers of Sunshine on a Wintry Day

Wearing cheerful colors during the winter makes me so happy. So, on one of the coldest and dreariest days of winter so far in St. Louis, I reached for layers of sunshine. Mustard moto jacket? Check! Mustard scarf? Check! Warm saffron tee? Check! Just seeing winter yellows makes me feel warm.

Monochrome dressing has been my go-to this cold weather season. It’s a super chic approach to dialing up my favorite colors. Hello, yellow!

To complete the look, I wore my favorite dark rinse jeans. Y’all, these jeans are only $27.99! I’ve been rocking this same pair for almost 2 years now, and they look and feel as good as new.

The yellows sure make this day look warm. But, I’m reminded of just how cold it was when I peeped my breath in this next shot. Brrr!
