Brights and Stripes for a Surprise Spring Day

Yesterday, I shared some of my favorite super stripes for spring. Today, since it has been feeling like spring in St. Louis, I’m sharing some of my old favorite bright stripes as worn this week. The scarf is an oldie from J.Crew that’s perfect for adding a pop of bright to any look. I’m a huge fan of this new floral style at J.Crew as well.

Tee (similar, similar) | Scarf (sold out, option) | Jeans (under $30) | Flats (new style)

Earrings | Mac “Heroine” Lipstick

One of my go-to pieces for anchoring my casual outfits is my dark rinse modern fit jeans. These jeans are usually a steal at only $27.99. But, right now, they’re on sale for $20! If you still haven’t tried a pair, this is a good time to do so. For reference, I wear a size 4.

My off-the-shoulder tee is a basic tee from Banana Republic that I drape over the shoulders for a fresh look.  Scoop tees and v-neck tees are perfect for styling this way. If the tees aren’t oversized, I just buy them in larger sizes.

Bright stripes

It was so warm that I got to give my boots a rest and bring my Sadie flats back into rotation. I haven’t tried the new ankle-strap Sadie styles, but this floral pair is calling my name. Pretty, right?

Location: St. Louis Riverfront

Have a bright and cheery weekend!
