I took a chance last fall when I bought a couple pairs of colorful pants, including today’s featured green chinos. It was a bold move for me because I usually wear dark colors on the bottom. I wanted to try something new, and I’m so glad I did. My colorful pants have become staples in my wardrobe. Here are three fly ways I make them work.
1. Pair brights with whites. Let colorful pants be the star by pairing with a white top.
What I’m Wearing:
Tee | Pants (option) | Oxfords (same style, love these) | Bag c/o
Mac “Ambrosial” lipstick | Earrings
2. Block brights with brights. The only thing better than bright color is more bright color. Find a complementary color or a similar hue and load up on color in one outfit.
What I’m Wearing:
V-neck blouse | Green chinos (option) | Pumps (sold out) | Bag c/o Linea Pelle | Earrings
3. Mix brights with prints. Pair bright pants with a cool print that incorporates the color of the pants for effortless style.
