Paint Louis 2016 Delivers Perfect Artsy Walls for Blog Photos

Inspiration matters. And, the works of art created by Paint Louis participants always inspire me so much. First of all, the artsy walls inspire my style. They also inspire the way I approach photography for this blog.

Paint Louis is an annual event that invites the best graffiti artists in the region to paint murals along the St. Louis Flood Wall, which I believe stands at 52 feet. The result is a gold mine of perfect backdrops for photographers. Paint Louis 2016 went down over the Labor Day Weekend. As usual, it was bittersweet for me because some of my favorite murals were removed, but they were replaced by a host of new masterpieces. Here are some of my favorites that I think are just perfect for blogger photos.

The mural above (by serum108) is especially relevant for blogger images because of its use of color and abstraction. As a result, it’s my all-time favorite this year. Come back tomorrow to see how I use it.

For real, Samelia! The artists are so talented. They spend the entire weekend perfecting these pieces inch by inch, and the wall is 52 feet tall. I’m in awe of them.

Would you believe the artsy walls go on for just under 2 miles, Elise? It’s truly amazing.
