Stylish vacation packing can get tricky when you choose to travel with a carry-on bag only. I make it work by ensuring that the few pieces I pack have fashion flair but are relaxed enough to wear almost anywhere.
This week, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite getaway styles from my trip to Curacao. If you’re following me on Instagram, you may have glimpsed some of them already. I’ll be providing all the details on these vacation looks right here throughout the week.
Romper: c/o Venus
Sunglasses: Kate Spade “Tahira” (similar J.Crew style)
Earrings: Kendra Scott (new for spring)
This purple romper, which retails for only $39, has lots of fashion flair. The vibrant purple hue was perfect for blending in the with all the beautiful colors in Curacao. The romper is somewhat disguised by an all-around, asymmetrical skirt that drapes so gracefully.
And, bam! The romper also has an open back detail. The opening at the back is just large enough to be stunning and sexy. I especially love that there is enough coverage to wear a normal bra. No need for pasties.
Sizing? I’m wearing the romper in a size small, which fits perfectly everywhere. If you’re curvy on the bottom like me, you won’t need to worry about this piece fitting you at the top but not at the bottom or vice versa. The romper is also tad stretchy, making it work for most.
This is a look I wore out in the evening in Curacao. I paired it with my Tory Burch woven wedge sandals. The J.Crew colorblock sandals would look amazing with this romper too. I’m waiting for the price on those sandals to drop though. You too?
I keep accessories minimal when in tropical places. Statement earrings are my go-to finishing touches. I’m wearing the Kendra Scott “Caroline” earrings in ivory pearl. These earrings are so easy to wear and make such a strong statement because of their size, shape, and suspended ivory pearl stone set in yellow gold.
Stay tuned for more spring vacation styles this week.
