I stopped by Ann Taylor recently to try on the striped split hem sheath dress (40% off today). Punchy stripes, a classic sheath silhouette, and a sexy front slit? I really wanted that dress. Unfortunately, the dress didn’t fit me like I had hoped. While in Ann Taylor, though, I spotted a few items with a beautiful, moody floral print. When I took a closer look at those items, I realized that they were on sale, and hence eligible for the sale-on-sale discount. I tried on the drapey v-neck blouse in that print, and the rest is history.

This floral v-neck blouse is a versatile piece that can work for work or just about anywhere. I’m wearing mine causally with my favorite jeans.
My J.Crew Collection Roxie suede jeweled pumps (sold out, but occasionally pop back) dress up the denim and blouse combination. The colors on the pumps create harmony with the blouse too.
Since the blouse has a busy floral print, I kept my jewelry simple by wearing my faceted crystal necklace. Like this necklace? I’ll be launching a giveaway tomorrow offering you a chance to win your own faceted crystal necklace.

Yay, Tara! I totally loved the colors you wore with yours. Will be trying that next for sure.
I know everyone is raving about the shoes (and they are gorgeous!), but I love the blouse!!
Hope to see you style it again … maybe a work look 🙂
Isn't it a beautiful blouse, Tauna. I'll definitely be restyling this one.
