Feathers and Fringe

Ruffle your feathers! I’ve been drawn to the feather trend this fall, from clothing with actual feather details to feather printed items. Feather pieces are so fanciful. I ordered the J.Crew feather collar necklace to get my feather fix, but returned it after trying it on. The feathers were a tad overwhelming on me on its collar style necklace. I’ve been keeping an eye on the J.Crew Elsie jeweled feather pumps, then, watching for markdowns.

I was so excited, then, when I walked into an off-price store recently and found today’s featured BCBG Max Azria feather print tuxedo jacket on clearance for under $20 (orig. $228). It was such an amazing find.

Today, I’m wearing my feather print blazer with another fall favorite, fringe. This little fringe tank, now on sale for $29, is an easy choice for adding festive flair to any look this season.

The feather jacket and fringe tank combination is perfect for jazzing up some basic joggers.

A few of my go-to gold accessories—the Kendra Scott Odette ring, Kendra Scott Jordan ring, and J.Crew Fireburst bracelet—complete the look.

My Madewell heels (on sale) add a pop of green, which nicely accents the feather print on the blazer.
