Living Life on the Fringe

Fringe has its benefits, but it can be a tricky trend to seamlessly incorporate into your everyday style. For some easy-to-wear fringe pieces—like a fringe front pullover and a pencil skirt with fringe—check out last week’s Fringe Benefits post.

Today, one of my personal favorite fringe accessories, an infinity fringe scarf ($19), helps me jazz up a white tee and jeans. The flirty trim of this scarf adds just the right amount of interest to the simply classic look.

Talking about adding interest to a simple look, I’m also wearing a couple other statement pieces—the J.Crew Elsie circle lace pumps and the Kendra Scott Perla earrings.

The earrings are from Kendra Scott’s “Mirror Mirror” collection, the brand’s winter collection. I didn’t pay much attention to the gunmetal pieces in the collection at first, but I tried on the Perla earrings in gunmetal with mirror rock crystals and felt a connection. If heavier earrings are uncomfortable for you, the similar Palmer earrings are a lighter option.
