Today’s featured asymmetrical jacquard skirt hit a sweet spot with me. It’s a mini, full skirt with a standout asymmetrical pleat in the front, made with a luxe jacquard. It’s on sale right now for 50% off too.

When I first saw the skirt, I saw unlimited styling possibilities. I pictured it with a crisp white shirt or a casual chambray shirt. I could see it with a fitted black turtleneck. I pictured it with a chunky sweater layered over a shirt. The skirt and top pairings are plentiful with this bottom.

I wore the asymmetrical skirt last weekend with a simple black tee and my cluster pearl necklace. It was a tad chilly, so I wore tights. I countered the sweetness of the look by wearing my Madewell oxfords instead of pumps.

Sizing? I’m wearing a size 6. I sized up one size to get a comfortable fit at the waist. The skirt has a fitted waistline with no stretch.

Remember the living green wall I shared in the Transitioning Summer Wide-leg Pants post? Today’s images were taken at another green wall located in the ruins of the National Memorial Church of God in Christ. The church was built in 1892 and burned to ruins in 2001. (Source)

you look amazing in the skirt. I decided to size up on the skirt also because I felt the waistline was a bit tight, however, now I feel that it looks way to long over my short legs.
