Dusters are all the rage this fall. From Chloe to Chanel, the oversized, floor-grazing toppers were a popular choice by several designers during the Fall 2015 runway season. I’ve resisted this trend in the past because I figured that these longer lengths would overwhelm my smaller frame. That’s until I tried today’s featured duster cardigan.

This duster, which retails for $39, first caught my eye because of its rich navy hue. It’s open stitch design looked quite chic as well. I was interested enough to give it a try.
Once it arrived, I was relieved to find out that at knee length, this duster was indeed petite-friendly. Last Sunday, the duster, worn with black and white, was the perfect topper for an early dinner date.
I’m wearing my J.Crew Elsie jacquard pumps, but the circle lace pumps (now on sale)
would be perfect in this navy and black ensemble.
On my way home from dinner, I stumbled upon a ghost sign in the Soulard area. Lucky find! The Royal Patent Flour ad is quite faded, but still legible.
