Cinch That Waist

Belts, particularly big belts, are a top accessory trend of the season. Fall 2015 runways, from Dolce and Gabbana to Salvatore Ferragamo to Isabel Marant, celebrated the hourglass figure with looks that were perfectly cinched at the waist.

My favorite belts are all from Anthropologie. From beaded and embellished designs to classic leather ones, I can always find that perfect belt to cinch my waist at Anthro.

I used my birthday discount this month to purchase the centered shine belt because it’s rose gold metallic finish and beaded center make this belt the ideal finishing touch for several looks I have planned. I’m also shopping for a new black belt, and this wrap belt, this sliced leather belt,  and this corset belt are strong contenders.

To allow the belt to simply shine, I didn’t wear a necklace and instead sported a few of my favorite rings—the Kendra Scott Branson ring, the Gorjana Teagan ring, and the Kendra Scott Jordan ring.

Last Saturday, I wore today’s featured look to the anniversary celebration of Honey’s Child Boutique, the premier store for full figured fashion in St. Louis. For highlights from that event, check out my review at Four Years of Fabulous Full Figured Fashion.
