Favorite Fall Hues

One of my favorite things about fall style is simply the color palette. Rich and warm hues like berry, emerald, and mustard are among my favorite colors to wear this time year. So, when Boohoo asked me to join its #WeAreReady campaign by sharing one of my autumn must-haves, I immediately looked to my favorite fall color—berry.

I found the perfect fall skirt, a plain full circle midi skirt in the richest shade of berry. And, the best part? The skirt retails for only $20. It’s pull-on style with an elastic waist. The skirt was a tad longer than I prefer to wear a midi, so I’m wearing it with the waist folded over one time.

I’ve been keeping this H&M patterned scarf on hand to cover up when needed. Its colors and print blend right in with the monochrome berry ensemble.

My hair is pulled back and tossed to the side using a headwrap that adds a contrasting pop of color, hunter green to be precise, to the mix.

Sizing? I’m wearing a US size 6 in the skirt and a size small in the tank.

I found this ghost sign that’s barely legible in the Soulard area. One portion of the painted ad reads “Brown’s Five Star Mark,” which according to what I’ve read, indicates an affiliation with Brown Shoe Company, recently rebranded under the name Caleres.
