Last Friday, my husband and I got the holiday weekend started early with a day long date. I wore the soft pants with a white shirt, which allowed the bold blue color to be a focal point.

I’ve been a fan of the brand for a while and didn’t even know it.
Find out more on that in my Berry Brand Feature post.

Of course, I added a few personal touches to the look, including the J.Crew beaded rope necklace, the Berry Brand lapis ear jackets, and a mud cloth fold over clutch. My J.Crew Elsie fabric pumps, with their just-right 3 1/2 inch heel and pointed toe, were the finishing touch.

Sizing of the pants? I’m wearing the pants in a size small. It’s true to size.

Shoe sizing? I’m wearing the Elsie pumps in my usual size 8. They fit true to size.

Those pants look comfortable, but like you can dress them up and down, which is great. I love the way you styled them, you look fab! #BLMGirl

I usually purchase Dulci pumps, but I'm obsessed with the Elsie pump in vivid jade, from J Crew. Are they comfortable? Trying to decide whether to buy the Elsie, but not sure if they will be comfortable. Any advice?

I find the Elsie pumps very comfortable. The Elsie is about 1 1/4 inches higher than the Dulci pumps. I think the pointed toe and the vamp of both styles are about the same. The key difference, then, is the height. If wearing a higher heel is not a problem for you, go for it.
