This weekend, I’m stepping out in my new retro lemon J.Crew Elsie fabric pumps. By the way, did you catch yesterday’s post about the amazing shoe sale at J.Crew right now? If your wardrobe could use a new pair or two or three, you can find some treasures in this sale on sale. Believe it or not, I haven’t been into shoes much for many years. But, at this phase of my style journey, what can I say, I’m digging shoes.

I collaborated with ShopSmart magazine a few years ago to breakdown the results of the magazine’s survey on women’s shoe preferences and habits. One of the surprising results was that on average, women owned 17 pairs of shoes. Most of you thought that number was low. Shoot. Even I had more pairs than that at the time.
Whatever the case, I’ve been expanding my shoe collection, filling a hole in my wardrobe in a sense. Classic pointed-toe pumps are my go-to style. I’m a shorter woman and this style can be quite leg-elongating. I’ve grown fond of the J.Crew Elsie pumps because they fit well and are always available in fresh prints, colors, and textures. Today’s weekend look started with my latest pair.
Have a wonderful weekend, y’all!
And the Jeans???…LOL…..CAPIS!
Ooh…I forgot to add the details for the jeans. Thanks for alerting me, CAPIS. I've updated the post.
Wow, I'm loving the punches of colour here. The necklace, heels, handbag are just beautiful!
