Spring Style, Print Mixing

On Tuesday, I talked all about fashionable and functional spring scarves. Missed it? Be sure to stop by Complement Your Style With Spring Scarves. A scarf, like the print infinity scarf I’m wearing in today’s post, can give new life to old favorites in your wardrobe. I’ve owned the Anthropologie striped day dress for about two years. It’s a go-to dress this time of year because it’s silhouette and print make it the perfect wear-everywhere dress. And, I have worn this dress everywhere. Yet, somehow, wearing this old dress with a print scarf makes it feel new again.

Sometimes when I wait for markdowns, items sell out before I have a chance to purchase them. I almost missed this striped day dress. Remember how I had to hunt it down in a New Jersey store? Gotta love Anthropologie’s online store locator.

These fabric d’Orsay flats are sold out online, but occasionally pop back. I found a pair in-store for 75% off! Don’t feel like hunting them down? Check out the new, just marked down, and equally fabulous fabric option available on these flats below. By the way, there have been mixed reviews on the sizing of this flat (many reviewers recommended sizing down a 1/2 size). My regular size 8 fits perfectly.
