I embrace any opportunity to infuse my island gal roots into my daily life off-island. When I was introduced to Arthur and Livingston, an accessories line with influences from the Caribbean, I felt an instant connection. Picture this. Vibrant colors. Irregular shaped gemstones. Chunky chains. Pieces from Arthur and Livingston take seashore style to city sidewalks.
Today’s look, a blazer paired with shorts, gets a little island flair from my Arthur and Livingston Benedict necklace. The Benedict necklace, an irregular shaped jasper pendant hanging on a gold plated chain, looks like something that was snatched right out of the ocean. This necklace, by the way, was just released in Arthur and Livingston’s SS15 collection, a beautiful assortment of pieces inspired by Trinidad and Tobago.

I love the navy shorts with this crips white blazer. Really summery look! The necklace is really beautiful and unique, too. I love that it's just one, roughly cut stone.
