The Rose Dress by Maryam Garba

One of the most rewarding things about being a blogger is that I come in contact with all kinds of fashion enthusiasts. I was recently introduced to Maryam Garba, a Chicago-based fashion designer who creates uniquely stylish and affordable pieces for young professionals. I was instantly drawn to Maryam’s line because it so tastefully fuses vibrant colors, bold prints, and classic silhouettes. By the way, all of Maryam’s creations are around $50 or less.

In today’s post, I’m wearing one of my favorite pieces in the current collection—the Maryam Garba “Rose” dress (on sale for $50). This stunning yellow dress is sophisticated, comfortable, and versatile. It’s the kind of dress you could wear from desk to dinner and then again on Sunday for brunch simply by changing accessories.

For reference, I’m wearing a size 2 in the Rose dress.

You look amazing, Psyche! Love that yellow on you. I have a very similar dress by Eva Mendes for New York & Company, and I have since bought it in other colors (though the yellow is my favorite).

    Such a fun versatile style!
