I’ve loved the featured African print skirt since it first hit Anthropologie’s online store in February. The skirt belongs to Anthropologie’s Legend & Song collection, a limited edition collaboration with designers that draw inspiration from East Africa. This particular skirt was created by Doreen Mashika, my favorite contributor to the Legend & Song partnership. Mashika’s free-spirited pieces reflect her Tanzanian roots.
Since items in the Legend & Song capsule are a tad pricey, I waited for first round price cuts. I was so thrilled, then, to walk into Anthropologie and spot this Dutch Wax Mini Skirt, the only one in sight, on sale. It was over 50% off too. I did a Pharrell happy dance when I realized the skirt fit.

I love this skirt!! It looks beautiful on you!!
I used to live in Africa and this makes me want to bust out all of the skirts I had made while I was there! (Fingers crossed that they still fit!).
Word, Jennifer. If you don't rock those skirts, I'll come take 'em 🙂
