Buckley K Trunk Show in St. Louis

Last Saturday, I had the honor of cohosting a Buckley K trunk show at Woody’s Mens Shop in St. Louis. Buckley K is a new line of luxurious, timeless travel basics created by sisters and St. Louis natives, Anne Kennedy Dotson and Sarah Kennedy. Premium ponte knits and washable silks meet classically chic designs in this collection of wear-everywhere pieces.

Here I am photographed with Buckley K co-owners Sarah Kennedy and Anne Kennedy Dotson.

What we’re wearing:

Sarah: Buckley K Sandwash dress; Me: Buckley K Cabana dress; Anne: Buckley K Gelato dress

Peek inside Woody’s Mens Shop, the venue for the trunk show. Woody’s is a true men’s specialty store, and I can’t wait to revisit with my husband.

Having admired the Buckley K collection online for weeks, it was so cool to finally see the line in person. And, let me tell you, I was blown away by the quality of the pieces. The color-blocked maxi dress I wore, for example, made me feel regal.

Here are the Buckley K maxi dresses as modeled by Katie and fellow blogger Yasmin:

Left to Right:

Katie is wearing the Buckley Cabana dress (black)

Yasmin is wearing the Buckley K Cabana dress (ivory & navy)

Yasmin demonstrates a chic quick fix for a maxi dress that’s too long. Tie a knot at the bottom!

Emily shows how essential and versatile a chic basic like the Buckley K Sandwash dress (in ivory) is by wearing hers with layered necklaces and a neon ankle strap sandal.

I’m excited to see more from Buckley K. I hear that a late summer collection filled with bright colors is in the works and that the fall collection is going to channel Dublin style. Stay in touch with Buckley K on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Join the conversation by using #weartowander

Disclosure: I was invited to be a paid cohost for the Buckley K trunk show. I received my maxi dress free of cost for participating in the event. All of the opinions, ideas, and images are my own.
