Last night, I attended Alive Magazine’s Handmade Holiday Party at the The Monarch in St. Louis, and it a was blast. Monarch was packed with people sipping on cocktails, vibing to the sounds of DJ TrashTalk, and shopping the over 25 independent vendors of handmade, locally sourced, and ethically imported products. I purchased the coolest vintage camera at the Pink Picker Party booth.
That night, I opted for a mixed print look. I paired a tartan, twist-front blouse with velvet skinny jeans. A stripe clutch and python wedges mixed things up a bit.

Nice top.
Thanks, Sing. It was a cool clearance find too.
I, of the Northern Midwest, envy you your shirt – LOVE IT – and you're obvious lack of snow.
Thanks, Mocinder. Would you believe the snow hit St. Louis that very night of the party? It was a freezing walk back to my car even with my coat on 🙂
Love this look on you. The blouse cool and unique, and it looks great with the velvet pants. I was sorry to miss the party. I ended up sick with strep throat that night! 🙁
