The chambray shirt has long risen to the status of must-have, wardrobe staple. So, the continued popularity of this lightweight, denim look-alike comes as no surprise this fall.
In today’s post, my chambray shirt is styled for the office. The shirt is paired with an all black, houndstooth skirt. A black velvet blazer, purchased in the Gap way back in 2007 and still looking new, provides the perfect topper. Red pumps, a bold gold necklace, and a stripe clutch complete the look.

I probably wear chambray to the office more than I should, but no one has complained yet! I'm loving this buttoned-up look!

Fantastic. Rock that chambray at work, Lauren. A chambray top has practically earned white shirt status now anyway.
Would never have even noticed that chambray because the rest of it was so perfect! And I may have been distracted by the shoes 🙂 Great look!
