Casual Friday

Today’s casual look is what I wore to the Handmade Holiday Cocktail Party earlier this week.  It was freezing in St. Louis that day, so it was a boots-worn-over-skinny-jeans kind of day.

On the top, I wore a grey tee under a hip and luxe-looking jacket that I found in Forever 21 recently.  The jacket is olive with a draped, open-front design.  The printed sleeves, a combination of chevron and aztec prints, is the detail that initially attracted me to this jacket.  My J.Crew Stacked Layers necklace (only $29.99 in-store, orig. $150) and a tan tote add finishing touches.

I really like this outfit. The jacket looks cozy but not so oversized like some of them are .

Thanks, Stacey! I know exactly what you mean. There's another one I liked that I ended up passing on because it had that oversized look.

That jacket looks so lush and cozy, but still very much flattering! And I love how you paired it with the cognac boots and bag. Such a great combo!

Fantastic! The draping in the front is surely a chic detail. Thanks for stopping by, Ivy.
