My second stop on Fashion’s Day Out was Neiman Marcus, which was hosting a major Cusp event that day with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), a non-profit community arts centers that uses the arts to build community. Neiman Marcus raised $1500 through ticket sales for the event and promptly matched the amount to award a total of $3000 to COCA.
Neiman Marcus transformed into a festive scene for Fashion’s Day Out. There were cocktails and lite bites from the in-house Zodiac restaurant. There were in-store demonstrations on the latest trends. Even handbag designer Anthony Luciano was on site to discuss the intricacies of his line. Makeup artists were also available for on-the-spot makeovers.
The highlight of the Neiman Marcus event was a runway presentation featuring up-to-the-minute looks by designers from the Cusp department at the store. Here are a few highlights I photographed during the runway presentation.
