It appears that summer is finally starting in St. Louis. After weeks of fairly cool weather, uncharacteristic of summers past in the Lou, this week brought highs in the upper 90s. Ouch! There’s nothing like sizzling hot temperatures, though, to remind you to hold on to summer and summer style.
Today’s look gives a nod to summer by incorporating brights, stripes, and florals. The floral skirt was a favorite, end-of-summer sale purchase from Anthropologie last September. It’s silk, luxe-looking, and hence a steal at the $29.95 price I paid for it. See how I styled it for early fall in Mustard and Purple: A Fall Color Combo and Casual Friday.

Thanks for stopping by, Lulu!
Really nice mix here.
Aww thanks, Sing!
Such a bold and pretty look. Love the mix of stripes and florals. The cardigan really brings it all together. You do color and pattern sooo well!!!
On another note, it would have been nice to skip the summer weather. 😉
