When I was planning outfits for Saint Louis Fashion Week, I put together an entire look anchored by the Loft Zoe skinny cropped pants in lurex jacquard dot, but I wasn’t pleased with the fit of the pants, so I had to drop that look. I was thrilled, then, when I later discovered that there was a sister skirt, a full skirt (my favorite silhouette), to that pants.
My plan was to wait for a markdown on the skirt because Loft loves a good sale. My wait was short, though, because Loft held a Cyber Saturday sale last weekend, offering 50% off everything and free shipping. I definitely ordered the skirt during that sale. It was $34.75 plus tax. The skirt is a beauty with its shimmery dot design and buttercup yellow color.

For reference, I often wear a 6 in Loft skirts, but this one fits like a true full skirt, so I’m wearing a 4. |

The April 2013 issue of Redbook featured this skirt in a spread documenting the miraculous styling power of a white tee. |

Thanks, Amber! This skirt was definitely a must-have for me.
Such a beautiful skirt! It look great on you and so nice with the plain white tee 🙂
Yeah, Mica, the Loft got this one so right. A plain white tee just works wonderfully in so many looks too.
Just lovely
