Happy Monday, y’all! Today’s post features a a casual outfit I wore last Saturday afternoon.
The skirt I’m wearing, the Anthropologie “Drawing Parallels” skirt, is a current favorite. It’s a full skirt in a vibrant color. What’s not to love, right? I believe it was first released in Spring 2011. The skirt is fairly new to me, though, since I purchased it on eBay last Fall.
I started regularly shopping in Anthropologie last year after stumbling into an amazing sale. I’ve since discovered that I’m especially fond of key styles often found there like the full, pull-on skirts by Odille and Maeve. I’ve also learned that if I wait patiently, the prices that start out quite high can get very low.
Now that I’m familiar with certain lines carried by Anthropologie and have hence developed expectations of sizing, fit, and quality, I routinely scout eBay for older styles that I missed. When the prices and conditions are right, I’ll shop my Anthro items on eBay. I enjoy wearing the skirt in today’s post so much, that I’m casually searching for the same style (on eBay of course) in green or yellow.
