Casual in Camo Stripes

The military trend has endured for quite a few seasons now.  Talk about staying power!  This fall, military-inspired styles came back with a bang as camouflage emerged as a must-try trend this season.

I love the look of camo from the jackets to the pants.  I couldn’t envision myself sporting a camo jacket nor the pants on too many occasions though.  But, a camo stripe tee?  That I can do.

Gap released its slub camo-stripe tee a couple months ago.  I waited to see if it would appear in my local stores.  Of course, the tee never appeared in STL stores because our stores receive very limited inventory.  By the time I was ready to purchase one of the tees online, they were long gone, sold out in every size and color (it also came in orange).

A couple weeks ago the tee reappeared online, during a Gap online sale, in size small only.  Lucky find!  I didn’t hesitate to purchase one this time and snatched one for $17.46 (orig. $24.95) plus tax and shipping.

Love it! It's a nice and subtle way to ease into the trend. I have a camo jacket from Old Navy that I got on clearance last year for $11! Hope to wear it soon 🙂

Aww that's cute with the fatigue stripes. The military trend has been around for a while! I love it. I'll still wear it even if it goes away
