Tunic Tales

Flashbacks.  For my entire primary and secondary schooling, I wore a uniform, which primarily comprised a pleated tunic worn over a button-down shirt.  So, whenever I see that look, I have flashbacks to my years of wearing uniforms.

Layering a shirt under a sleeveless dress is a great restyling option for dresses though.  Tara of Mix and Match Fashion rocked a dress over a shirt recently.  She looked so polished and professional that I had to give it a try.

My Kay Unger sheath is perfect for styling in this way because of its silhouette and neckline.

The stripes on this Kate Spade New York Ruby Street Bow Monette bag are

I grew up in the Caribbean wearing tunic uniforms too, so I know that story! Love this look on you! It's really charming. Really like your hair and make-up in these photos as well.
