Looking Back, Looking Forward: A Fall Transition

Slowly but surely.  Extremely hot temps hijacked summer this year, but Fall is slowly beginning to rescue St. Louis from the hottest summer I’ve ever experienced.

As the average daily temperature slowly drops, I’m beginning to plan Fall stylings of lightweight items in my wardrobe like the blue and green dress featured in today’s post.  I purchased this Guess dress earlier in the year, but I haven’t worn it much because I grew bored with the print.  Does that happen to you?  Anyway, I’m looking forward to Fall because I can layer my way back to loving the print on this dress.

I found these Diba booties in DSW recently.  They are comfortable and I envision them
pairing well with my dresses and skirts this fall.

Dress—Guess Los Angeles via Nordstrom Rack (Old Navy dress with same colors)
Sweater—Gap (similar style on sale)
Belt—Anthropologie ‘Gilt Elephant’ (skinny belt alternative)
Boots—Diba ‘Pilot’ bootie
Sunglasses—DVF via Marshalls (an Anthro pair I love)
Watch—Two-tone MK watch (similar)

See how I’ve worn this Guess Los Angeles dress before in Spring Greens.
