Last week, during the J.Crew sale on sale (40% off sale items), I shopped online because the sale section of my local store was a ghost town. While on the J.Crew site, I noticed that the 40% off coupon applied to factory store stuff too and the items didn’t become final sale either. With an offer like that, I decided to get a couple factory store items.
I purchased a pleated skirt from the factory store. I suppose this is the factory store version of the Jardin skirt. I had never tried one on, so I decided to be safe and ordered a size 6. Unfortunately, the skirt was too big. I find that I’m also not in love with the style on me. I sport full skirts all the time, but I felt a tad overwhelmed by this one. The size 4 might look better, but I’m not sure I want to explore that.
Here’s a look at the skirt. It was so cheap (like $17.70) that I’m considering gifting it to someone instead of absorbing the shipping cost to return it.

I prefer to wear my skirts above the knee, so this skirt is longer than I’d like. By the way, I’m 5’4″ |

Agreed! J.Crew calls it "rich purple"
I so love the color and style of the skirt, but it's a shame it is too big! 🙁 xx, Pip

I know right! The color is stunning!
That skirt is beautiful – such a nice colour! Shame it is too big, gifting it sounds like a lovely idea.
