I’ve been pushing myself to refashion items in my wardrobe that I don’t wear often enough, but are keepers. It’s been a rewarding process because it has helped me silence those voices in my head that say, “you need more stuff!”
The dress I’m wearing today is a Claude Brown dress that I found in Daffy’s a year ago. I’ve probably worn it twice (Dressed for Success & Classic Red, Black, and White) since then. The dress is very luxe-looking, so I’ve only reached for it on days I felt I needed to “dress up.”
Today’s post gives this dress a mini makeover, a new look that has left me excited about other styling possibilities for it.
Dress—Claude Brown c/o Daffy’s
Tee—Michael Kors via Marshalls (similar)
Shoes—Michael Kors via Macy’s (similar MK pump)
Belt—The Limited (similar)
Bag—Michael Kors Hamilton tote via Macy’s
Ah nothing like black, white and red. The purple is a nice surprise.
I love how you put this together. and that color combo is classic.
It's an amazing print and it would look good styled so many ways.
I love this outfit! Oh and those purple shoes….lovely!
This dress is perfect on you, and I love it paired with the red belt. So classy and effortless 🙂 And as always, your hair looks adorable!
